Megaro Athinogenous / permission

Located on Stadiou street in the heart of Athens, Megaro Athinogenous is one of the most imposing buildings of the Athenian bourgeoisie at the end of 19th century, having housed the Athinogenous family as well as the first Othoman Bank of Greece. It is standing abandoned for the past decades.

Exploiting the whole of its plot, a new building is organicly added at the back of Megaro Athinogenous generating a new ensemble that respects and gives prominence to the monument while at the same time creates an up to date building that can respond to the modern requirments.
