Electrolux is a leading global appliance company with brands including Electrolux, AEG, Anova, Frigidaire, Westinghouse and Zanussi that shape living for the better by reinventing taste, care and well being experiences, making life more enjoyable and sustainable for millions of people.
They decided to relocate & redesign their headquarters in Athens, based on their new international corporate id.
Prior to designing anything, we studied the corporate design manual in detail as well as the new Electrolux offices around the world. Our main aim was to design a unique version of the corporate working space that will clearly stand out internationally.
The major design gesture was made through the floor design with the combination of colors, materials and geometry. Straight lines create perspectives towards the different zones, wooden floors offer a more cosy effect at the recreation areas, green carpet floor indicates the circulation while the grey one tones down the working zones.
Major effect is achieved with the double height 'green wall' in combination with the interior plants all around.
